Sunbird Academy

Sunbird Academy is a dedicated CambriLearn support centre focused on nurturing the holistic development of all learners, including both neurotypical and neurodiverse students. They provide individualised attention in smaller group settings for students aged 6 to 18, utilising  British and South African CAPS curricula.

The academy offers comprehensive academic support across a wide range of subjects, including Accounting, Afrikaans, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Coding, Creative Arts, Economic Management Sciences, English, Geography, History, Learning to Read and Write, Life Orientation, Life Skills, Mathematics, Physics, Robotics, Science / Natural Sciences, and Technology. Beyond academics, Sunbird Academy provides individualised support, holiday programs, aftercare services, exam preparation, and study skills development. They also organize social days and evenings for senior students, physical education activities, and educational outings to foster social growth.

Operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00. The centre is equipped with dedicated study rooms, Wi-Fi connectivity, a library corner designed for younger children, and access to a kitchen. For relaxation and recreation, students can utilize an outdoor chill area, a pool table, and table tennis facilities. Safe parking is also available on-site.
