Read on FacebookThe 4.8 figure is the average of the four ratings above. Weighted by review volume instead, so that Google's 147 reviews count for more than Facebook's 18, it comes to 4.73. The Google figure combines our three Google Business Profiles: South Africa on 137 reviews, the United Arab Emirates on 7 and the United Kingdom on 3. All figures were taken from the four sites on 10 September 2026. HelloPeter scores on a rolling 12 months, so its rating covers a shorter period than its review count. The numbers change as families post, so check the live listing.
What families write about
Four subjects come up more than any others, on all four sites and in every year we have been open.
Parents rarely lead with marks. They write about the hour before nine, and about Sunday nights their child no longer dreads.
Children who had stopped asking questions in a class of thirty start asking them in a smaller one. More than one parent has written that their child sounds like themselves again.
Reviewers write about marking more than any other part of the teaching. They mention the method coming back with the mark, and lessons a child can watch a second time.
Families build the day around swimming training, a chronic illness or a different time zone. Most then name the person they could ask when the work stopped making sense.

We made the switch to Cambrilearn earlier this year and it's honestly been such a positive change. Our child is far more relaxed about school and seems to understand the work much better. The structure and support have made a big difference for our family. Really glad we made the move
We switched to CambriLearn's British curriculum a few months ago and it's been a really positive change. Everything is laid out clearly and the structure makes it easy to follow along. My son settled in quickly and actually looks forward to his lessons now. His confidence has grown a lot and we're seeing real progress in his schoolwork. Really happy with how it's going.
I cannot begin to express the relief of not having to deal with a mainstream school. My son can work at his own pace without the pressures and the distraction of a classroom around him. The course material is convenient and easy to use. The online lectures are helpful but not a necessity. Since homeschooling my son has not been sick once! The support staff are immensely helpful and friendly, even where I was the one who made the mistake.
I would honestly rate my experience with Cambrilearn a 10/10. At first, I wasn't sure how I would feel about online schooling, but I've grown to really enjoy it. I love that I have the freedom to work at my own pace and organise my schoolwork around my everyday life. It has also taught me to be more independent and responsible with my time... I've had such a good experience with the teachers and the people who support me, and I really appreciate how much they care about helping students succeed.
Enrolling Grade 3 my son in Cambrilearn is one of the best decisions I have EVER made. The school is overall well organised, accommodating and very professional. We love the recorded videos. They even have oral presentations, weekly exercise club and monthly social interactions for an hour, that was a bonus for us. The teachers are the BEST - They are well prepared for the lessons. Their marking is the honest and fair with valuable feedback for the learner. They encourage learners and also SUPER friendly... My son enjoys the school so much. Thank you Cambrilearn, keep up the good work.
We've recently moved our neurodivergent daughter over to CambriLearn after she found it increasingly difficult to cope in a traditional school environment, and it has been one of the best decisions we've made. From the very beginning, the support we've received has been exceptional. The staff are always friendly, patient, and quick to assist with any questions we have. The recorded lessons have made a huge difference, allowing our daughter to learn at her own pace and revisit concepts whenever she needs to, which has really helped build her confidence...
Cambrilearn helped us during a really difficult time with major disruptions in our country and broader region. We could not send our two kids to school due to safety issues in the UAE and that's when we though about homeschooling. A friend recommended we talk to Cambrilearn, which we were hesitant at first but spoke to a lovely consultant who gave us all the informaiton we needed. They helped us to onboard both our kids within days, they are 8 and 14 on the British curriculum. We've been so pleasantly surprised that we are now considering staying with Cambrilearn.
We enrolled with Cambrilearn Online School in the first quarter of '25. I genuinely cannot recommend them highly enough! Even facing a platform changeover, all of their departments are genuinely on top form! Your first interaction (immediate response), is a bot, that 98% of the time solves your query for you. You are allocated an actual "student advisor" customer care agent, that resolves any issues the bot can't assist with. And then, the teachers that genuinely go above and beyond to assist, top notch!... I have to make special mention of their accounts department (Florencia); our student advisor (Nadine) and our CAPS/KABV primary school teacher Ms. Visser.

Where these reviews live
Google, HelloPeter, Trustpilot and Facebook all belong to somebody else. We cannot edit a word, move a rating or quietly lose a bad month.
Every link on this page opens the full listing rather than a shortlist of our favourites. If you want to start with the worst reviews, sort by lowest rating.
Our replies sit under them in public, including under the reviews we did not enjoy reading. They stay there years afterwards.
They go up and down as families post. We recheck all four sites, update the figures here and publish the date we last looked.
The detail in plain language
How the average is worked out, and what we can and cannot control.
See our accreditation in fullIt is the average of the four site ratings above: 4.7 on Google, 4.9 on HelloPeter, 4.5 on Trustpilot and 5.0 on Facebook. Weighted by review volume instead, so that Google's 147 reviews count for more than Facebook's 18, it comes to 4.73. We publish both figures, and the four sites are linked above so you can check either.
Every review is written by a parent or a student and posted on Google, HelloPeter, Trustpilot or Facebook. CambriLearn cannot edit, reorder or delete any of them. Each site runs its own checks on what gets published, and we do not claim to verify them ourselves. That is why every figure on this page links to the source.
A single score is easier to influence than four. These listings were built up over years by families in different countries, and parents in South Africa, the UK and the UAE tend to use different sites, so one rating would leave most of it out.
They sit on the same listings as the positive ones and we reply to them. Open any of the four sites, sort by lowest rating, and read what comes up before you enrol rather than after.
We recheck all four sites and update the numbers and the date on this page. Counts and ratings move as families post, so the live listing is the final word. The links above go straight to it.
CambriLearn is accredited by Cognia and by Pearson Edexcel, registered with SACAI and the IEB, and NCAA approved. Reviews tell you what families think. Accreditation tells you which qualifications your child can sit for. Our accreditation page sets out each body and what it covers.
Before you enrol
Read the reviews first, and compare us with any other school you are considering. A 15 minute call after that is usually enough to tell whether this would work for your child.
