Dr. Liz Learning Centre, located at 3 van der Westhuizen Avenue in Durbanville, Western Cape, operates as a CambriLearn‑affiliated centre serving learners aged 13‑18 (Grades 7‑12) and offering tuition for both the British and CAPS curricula.
Tutoring covers a broad range of subjects including Mathematics, Sciences, English, Afrikaans, Business Studies, Economics, Coding, Robotics, Creative Arts and more through online or in‑person sessions offered one‑on‑one or in small groups of up to five. The centre’s approach centres on understanding each learner’s strengths and challenges, providing targeted explanations, gap‑identification, study‑skill coaching, exam preparation and ongoing mentorship to foster independence and confidence.
The centre is open Monday to Thursday 09:00‑14:30 and Friday 09:00‑13:00, with a homely cottage setting that includes free Wi‑Fi, a kitchenette, a secluded garden for breaks, and resident emotional‑support bunnies and cats. Sensory fidget items are also available to help neurodivergent or kinesthetic learners maintain focus.
