As such, we have some important year-end closure dates and notices to share with you. Please take note of these as they will impact you and your child’s educational journey in December 2023.
Here are the closure dates for the different curriculums.
CAPS Students
Deadline for accepting submissions:
- FET (Grade 10 and 11) Students : 8 December 2023
- Grades 1 - 9 : 13 December 2023
School Closure dates:
- Last day of Live lessons and Q&A sessions for all Students: 8 December 2023
- Term 4 concludes: 13 December 2023
- The platform will be temporarily unavailable for downloads and submissions from 13 December 2023 to 4 January 2024
- Term 1 commences: 16 January 2024
British Curriculum Students
- Live Lessons and Q&A sessions will be paused between 8 December 2023 and 15 January 2024
- The platform will be temporarily unavailable for downloads and submissions from 13 December 2023 to 4 January 2024 (The dashboard and coursework will still be accessible during this period)
How report cards will work
CAPS Students
CAPS Reports are automatically generated by the system and become available only after all assessments, tests, and exams for the academic term have been submitted and graded. In the event of any pending assessments, the report card cannot be produced. To identify any outstanding assessments, you may consult the Student Tracker, accessible through your guardian profile.
British Curriculum Students
To obtain British report cards, please utilise the "Request Report Card ' feature available within your Guardian CambriLearn portal, situated in the upper right-hand corner. It is important to be aware that the generation of report cards is contingent upon the completion of all assignments, tests, and end-of-course progression tests or exams.
