What Makes This Different from a Traditional School?
The Hub is not a traditional school. There are no large classrooms with 25 to 30 students. Instead, students work through their CambriLearn course material in small groups with an in-person facilitator who provides daily guidance, keeps students on track, and ensures they are engaging with their lessons. Live lessons from subject specialist teachers are delivered through the CambriLearn platform, and the facilitator is there to help bridge any gaps between lessons.
This model works particularly well for students who need more structure than fully online learning provides but who also benefit from a calmer, more personalised environment than a large traditional school. The small group sizes mean that every student receives individual attention throughout the day.
Who Uses the Hybrid Hub?
The families who choose the Hub tend to fall into a few categories. Accreditation and Qualifications
Hybrid Hub students earn the same qualifications as CambriLearn's fully online students. The International British pathway leads to International GCSE, AS Level, and A Level examinations, sat at British Council centres in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The US pathway leads to a Cognia-accredited high school diploma that is recognised by universities across the Middle East, United States, United Kingdom, and globally. Students can also follow the Pearson Edexcel pathway for International GCSE and AS Level.
CambriLearn is accredited by Cognia and is an approved Pearson Edexcel centre. The US curriculum is also NCAA approved for student athletes.
