The International GCSE History course is a comprehensive exploration of significant global issues spanning the 19th and 20th centuries, with an in-depth focus on specific regions.
Beyond the acquisition of historical facts, this curriculum places a strong emphasis on cultivating the essential skills of historical inquiry and research. Students engage in a nuanced understanding of causality, continuity, change, as well as similarities and differences across historical contexts. They also learn to adeptly analyse and interpret historical evidence, a vital component of their academic pursuits.

It not only serves as a solid foundation for further historical study but also kindles a lifelong passion for the subject. With options for both coursework and non-coursework assessments, students have the flexibility to tailor their learning experience to their strengths and interests, providing a well-rounded and engaging history education.
Upon completion of the course, students will be prepared to write their International GCSE History exam at an accredited Cambridge exam centre.
