What is the CAPS curriculum?

CAPS, the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement, is South Africa's national curriculum, set by the Department of Basic Education for Grade R to Grade 12. At CambriLearn it is taught fully online by qualified South African teachers, runs on structured school terms, and leads to the National Senior Certificate through SACAI, the Umalusi-accredited assessment body.

CambriLearn's online CAPS primary school follows the South African national curriculum and offers the compulsory subjects from Grade R to Grade 3. Social and Emotional Learning and Robotics are available as extracurricular courses.
