Cecilia Reineke

I started CambriLearn so that I can have a positive impact on students around the world. I initially studied a BCom/LLB and completed my articles, only to realise my passion is teaching.

I am extremely passionate about teaching and have been teaching the British syllabus for more than 17 years.

I hand-pick each of CambriLearn's teachers, ensuring that they share my passion for teaching, ensuring that we can instil a love for learning in all our learners.

Frequently asked questions

How does CambriLearn Work?

We provide resources for a complete online schooling solution - including notes, worksheets, step-by-step learning guides, marked assessments, tests and exams, pre-recorded video lessons, video resources and live lessons.

Additionally, with our Premium package, your child will have access to their teachers via direct messaging as well as weekly Q&A sessions where they can engage and interact with the teacher in a virtual classroom environment.

Everything is supplied except the textbooks which need to be sourced separately (we don't supply textbooks).

Is CambriLearn an accredited school?

CambriLearn is a Cognia accredited online school, which is one of the world’s largest teacher-led accreditation bodies. Students graduating from Cognia-accredited schools are recognised at the best schools and universities around the world.

CambriLearn is also a SACAI registered online school which means that we can accept Grade 12 students for the 2024 school year.

What are your fees?

The pricing is level, subject, and package dependent. The monthly instalment option is spread over 10 months. You can mix both Standard and Premium package options together. Our pricing includes examination fees except for International GCSE, AS and A Levels. You can view our packages and pricing option here to learn more.

Textbooks

CambriLearn's school fees do not include textbooks, but we've partnered with different suppliers to offer parents special discounts.

You can download the textbook lists and view recommended suppliers here:  https://cambrilearn.com/textbooks

Important to note: An ISBN (International Standard Book Number) identifies a unique edition of a book.

Therefore:
A hard copy edition of a book will carry a different ISBN to an e-book or digital edition. Please confirm directly with your textbook supplier whether you intend to buy a hardcopy or e-book/digital edition. A revised edition of a book will receive a new ISBN even when it carries the same title as a previous edition.

How does the flexibility work?

The International British (aka Cambridge) Curriculum online school provides the flexibility that affords students the ability to start at any time of the year.

The curriculum is presented on self-paced learning platform which doesn’t run a traditional school year with fixed terms, scheduling, or lesson times. As such, the learner's school year starts on the day in which you enroll and will run for 12 months from that point.

For International GCSE, AS and A levels you’ll just need to keep the Cambridge May / June and October / November exam times in mind and ensure that the student has completed their school work by using the student tracker.

If you're interested in the CAPS curriculum online school, you’ll be able to structure your child’s day-to-day learning in a way that suits you. You will however still need to follow the same exam schedule as the National Curriculum which culminates in November / December.

Does CambriLearn cater for special needs?

Although our teachers aren't special needs trained, we do find many dyslexic /on-spectrum students prefer our online schooling platform simply because of the self-paced nature of learning.

Students can take their time and work at a pace that's comfortable to them. It is something that needs to be looked at on a case-by-case basis and depends on severity. If unsure, please speak to an Education Consultant who will ensure that online schooling at CambriLearn is an appropriate match for your family's needs.

Additionally, we can offer students concessions for their special needs.

Does CambriLearn have physical centres?

Yes, we have several affiliated learning centres across the globe.

The best way to find one that is suitable for your family is to reach out to hello@cambrilearn.com and provide the following information:

Your location, the grade(s) / stage(s) your student(s) are enrolled in, the curriculum they follow, and any additional information that will be important for the learning centre to know (e.g. any special needs).

Do Universities accept CambriLearn students?

The short answer is yes! CambriLearn students have gone on to study abroad and receive bursaries at local and international universities based on their results.

We recommend that you speak to an admissions advisor on your subject choices for the degree that you would like to study before you enrol.
