Foundation I & II

CambriLearn's Foundation level curriculum is  aligned with the International British Lower Secondary curriculum. The Foundation I and Foundation II courses are designed prepare for the next phase of the student's education; International GCSE (or IGCSE).

CambriLearn's International GCSE curriculum builds on the foundation of the Lower Secondary levels. The International GCSE Exam is written at an independent Cambridge exam centre, and is a globally-recognised exam.

Each CambriLearn International GCSE, AS or A level course has a structured lesson plan that has been created by professionally trained and qualified teachers. Students will have access to live online lessons, and a recorded lesson library, to which they can refer if they are experiencing any difficulties with a specific topic.

The student's progress is tracked on CambriLearn's Student Tracker. Students will also complete assignments and mock exams, which are marked by their teachers. The marked assessments and mock exams will have individualised feedback to help the student improve.

How the CambriLearn system works

By taking a competency-based approach to education, our platform when used in conjunction with the British International curriculum (or Cambridge Curriculum), allows students to study at the level at which they will excel. Although there are recommended ages at which different education levels should be taken, this approach means the levels are flexible enough to accommodate each student’s unique competence.

This is the ideal preparation for both tertiary studies and for the world of work, where the emphasis is on higher order thinking.
