To lead and optimise a high-performing, remote teaching team by ensuring excellence in instructional delivery, effective operational management, and continuous curriculum improvement, while driving innovation, supporting teacher development, and delivering an exceptional learning experience for students.

Key Responsibilities

Teacher Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 30+ teachers across multiple curriculum streams.
  • Oversee workforce planning, including allocation of teaching responsibilities, capacity management, and role alignment in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
  • Manage leave planning and approvals to ensure continuity of teaching and learning.
  • Utilise data, metrics, and reporting tools to monitor teacher workload, productivity, and performance in a remote setting.
  • Collaborate with HR to identify staffing needs, participate in recruitment processes, and conduct interviews for new hires.
  • Drive quality assurance through regular evaluation of teaching practices, ensuring high standards of delivery.
  • Address and resolve parent feedback in collaboration with teachers, implementing continuous improvement strategies.
  • Conduct performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and professional development guidance.
  • Identify opportunities for technological innovation and process improvement to enhance teaching quality and operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to maintain engagement, alignment, and morale.
  • Ensure consistent communication across teams regarding updates, changes, and key dates.

School Administration & Operations

  • Manage and resolve escalated queries and feedback from Business Development Managers, parents, and students.
  • Provide expert guidance on curriculum-related queries across British Early Years to Primary Stage 6 and CAPS Grade R to 9.
  • Review and approve admissions with special considerations, ensuring appropriate support structures are in place.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate issuance of student report cards.
  • Coordinate and manage entrance assessments and placement testing for prospective students.
  • Evaluate and optimise engagement tools by liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of teacher engagement initiatives and implement improvements where required.
  • Manage budgets related to staff engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and operational tools.

Curriculum & Academic Oversight

  • Maintain strategic oversight of multiple curricula, including British, CAPS, and KABV.
  • Collaborate with Head Teachers to review curriculum delivery, identify challenges, and implement enhancements.
  • Oversee assessment frameworks and lead changes to ensure alignment with academic standards.
  • Monitor the development of new courses, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for future curriculum development and organisational growth.
  • Lead change management initiatives in response to feedback, ensuring smooth implementation of academic and operational improvements.

Criteria

  • Relevant diploma/degree plus teacher qualification from a recognised institution.
  • At least five years of teaching experience in a primary school (Grade R-7) setting.
  • Leadership experience is required.
  • A digital tech savvy practitioners is essential.
  • Flexible with a growth mindset and can-do attitude.
  • Innovative approach to pedagogy with the ability to engage with students online and teach and reach students through online learning.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educational professionals.
  • Willing to be part of an exciting team of specialists informed by the latest national and international models of good pedagogy practice.
