About the Company:

Top Dog Education, founded in 2010, has developed a number of online education solutions and have successfully brought these to market. We’re currently focused on our CambriLearn product, with the goal of becoming the global leader in online education. The company is in a high growth stage and is expanding into other curriculums and territories outside of South Africa.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven Account Executive who thrives on building and growing long term client relationships. You will be responsible for maximising sales and retention, nurturing both new and existing clients, and tailoring solutions to their unique needs. This is a high-impact role requiring strong relationship management, process discipline, and a data-driven mindset. You will manage a portfolio of affiliate partners and direct clients, acting as a trusted advisor while ensuring all activity is tracked with integrity in our CRM system (Salesforce).

Bachelor’s degree

Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a client facing role.

Experience selling a SaaS product is advantageous.

Experience in education is advantageous.

Experience selling in international markets is advantageous.

Key Skills & Critical Knowledge:

Ability to work with a CRM (Salesforce desirable, but not critical).

Great ICT skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Key Accountabilities:

This role will report directly into the account executive team lead and will be accountable for maximising revenue per client and achieving retention targets within their account management portfolios. The role entails:

B2B2C lead management (contacting and engaging with Affiliate-referred leads with the aim of closing sales through the enrolment of new students).

Relationship management to nurture renewals. This includes calling clients, conducting follow-ups and check ins.

Affiliate marketing collaboration with marketing department.

Strategizing with the Affiliate to maximize inquiries and sales at the right times of year.

Having an in-depth understanding of our products as well as the different B2C and B2B Affiliate target markets that we sell to.

Providing platform and curriculum training.

Relaying requests for support when needed to the Support Team.

Managing all new and retained B2B2C sales, ensuring leads are consulted timeously.

Making contact with leads and being able to re-sell, cross-sell or up-sell the value of our products to these leads.

Conducting Monthly Check-Ins to assess recent promotional efforts, reconcile recent inquiries and enrolments, and stay up to speed on the Affiliate’s satisfaction level.

All work must be tracked on Salesforce.

The candidate will be working as part of a larger account management team.

This role may need to speak to people in a range of locations and thus may need to work. at adjusted hours from time to time.

Salary Range:

R30,000.00 – R36,000.00 per month (skillset and experience dependent) + commission.
