The aim of this course is to provide students with the fundamental knowledge to excel in the CAPS Life Sciences Grade 12 prelim and final examinations. This involves delving into the scientific exploration of living organisms, starting from the molecular level and extending to their interactions with each other and their surroundings. The methods employed encompass the formulation of hypotheses and conducting objective investigations and experiments to test these hypotheses.
Throughout this course, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the real-world applications of Life Sciences, recognising its significance in everyday life. Moreover, they will grasp the historical context of scientific discoveries and recognise the interplay between indigenous knowledge and scientific principles.
